Google (see below to do a google search within SAHMs n WAHMs or expand to the whole web) is my favorite search engine. You can choose to search the general google, or search images or news. Whatever you're looking for, google it first! Tip: For very specific searches in most search engines, "use quotation marks around" the specific phrase!
For another type of search, use the SAHMs n WAHMs Search Engine , a search engine I created just for parenting resources.
Wikipedia is a great encyclopedia!
Refdesk is one of my favorites for fact-checking, especially news-related!
Get stumped by Roman Numerals? This is a great translator!
National Center for Health Statistics is great for those health-related stats!
U.S. Census Bureau for anything to do with demographics.
Snopes is the place to go if you're wondering if that e-mail you got is true, or that story your friend told you about their friend's mother's aunt's friend that you just didn't want to believe was true!
And finally, Dummies.com is the place for you if you are new to the Internet, or you have NO CLUE about how to do something.
